BABY & KIDS

Sailing as a family changes a provisioning list completely. Products for babies and young children are not available everywhere once you are at anchor, and there is no improvised substitute: this is the one category never to leave to a stopover.

Here you will find baby food — jars, pouches, infant formula, cereals — along with the associated hygiene products. Everything keeps without refrigeration before opening, which makes life on board considerably simpler.

Our advice: always allow two to three days beyond the planned length of your trip. Weather delays and extended anchorages happen, and this is the only category where running out is a real problem.
