Aperitifs & digestives

Ready-made punches, whisky, pastis, vermouth, liqueurs and digestifs complete the ship's cellar. Like rum, these are spirits that need no fridge space and cross a whole cruise without deteriorating.

Ready-made punches have an obvious appeal under way: nothing to measure, nothing to mix, no fresh ingredient to keep. For purists, ti-punch is built on board from white rum, cane syrup and a lime — three items not to forget when ordering.

Think of mixers, tonics and juices at the same time: they are the most frequent omission on a provisioning list.
