Beers & ciders

Beer is the most consumed drink on board after water, and the one that raises the most logistical questions: it takes cold space, it is heavy, and glass breaks.

Cans answer all three at once. They chill twice as fast as a bottle, stow flat in the bottom of a cool box or fridge, crush once empty and pose no risk in a knock. Keep glass for stopovers and for the beers you particularly want to serve from the bottle.

Local Caribbean beers have the advantage of being available all year round, and of being exactly what visiting crews want to try.

Alcohol is sold to adults only. Please drink responsibly.
