Rosé wines

Rosé is probably the most poured wine on board in the Caribbean, and for good reason: served cold, light and low in tannin, it works equally well with drinks at anchor, grilled fish or a salad thrown together quickly.

It is also the most forgiving wine in boat conditions, as long as it is drunk young and chilled. Plan fridge space or a dedicated cool box: warm rosé loses the point entirely, and cold space is the real constraint here, more than stowage.

Bag-in-box versions exist in this range too, and suit serving by the glass to a large crew particularly well.
